The Story behind the books
When my sister became pregnant, I was obsessed with curating the perfect reading list for her baby. However, I could not find many children's books by Black authors. In fact, I had to dig very deeply into the world wide web to find any children's books by Black authors. This experience inspired me to begin writing children's books and I started by collaborating with my sister.
My goal is to create children's books for Black children about Black experiences, with a focal point on African history and culture. My aspiration is to produce an astounding number of children's books, large enough to curate several perfect reading lists for all Black babies across the diaspora.
